Sango is a crocheted vase made by Lina.
Crocheting “fiber vessels” is all about reimagining form and function. These vases hold space, not water. They hold presence without shouting. They are soft sculptures with a quiet kind of strength.
With a nod to Japanese “wabi-sabi” aesthetics and traditional ikebana forms, each vessel embraces imperfection, individuality, minimalism, and the beauty of handmade craft.
By using yarn made from leftover textile, I transform what was once overlooked into little celebrations of slow design. And so, each vessel becomes a reminder that beauty can be made from what’s been left behind.
KINTSUGI option: add some lovingly hand-applied golden scars to your vase! Just keep in mind this will add 2 to 3 days to the process — good things take a little extra time. (Oh, and spot clean only to preserve its magic!)
