Potsupotsu I is a hand punched wool painting made by Lina.
The Potsupotsu series is a celebration of simplicity and playfulness through beautiful vibrant colours and soft, touchable textures. It features scattered spots — “potsupotsu” — in bold colours, creating a sense of organic rhythm and joyful spontaneity.
Encasing each composition is an eye-catching, textured frame which — together with the soft fuzziness of the wool — adds an extra tactile dimension to each work. So please DO touch!
Punch needle is an embroidery technique using a small handheld wooden pen with a hollow needle that “punches” yarn through fabric. It is much slower and more detailed than the now popular tufting technique, which uses a powered tufting gun.
50 x 60 cm frame.
Made of 100% New Zealand wool on durable polyester cloth and a sustainably sourced European pine frame. Comes with a metal suspension clamp.
