The Kimoi Wall Hanger is a dangly polymer clay wall ornament handmade by Ami.
Kimoi (きもい) is a shortened slang version of kimochiwarui (気持ち悪い) meaning ‘disgusting’ or ‘gross’. You can use it for anything ranging from a bad smell to a creepy person.
This hanger is part of the Moji (文字) Collection: polymer clay accessories inspired by the bold, graphic aesthetics of Japanese children’s books, posters and toys from my youth with which I (quite unsuccessfully) tried to study the Japanese language. Would you like a standalone simple calligraphic character or would you rather spell out a secret (perhaps dirty) word in Japanese? Anything is possible.
Length: approximately 14 cm.
Made from lightweight and durable polymer clay and hand painted. Comes in a random colour combo but don’t hesitate to contact me for a specific request.
Wipe with a soft and damp cloth to clean. Keep away from moisture.
