The Hiragana Magnet Set is a bundle of five polymer clay magnets handmade by Ami.
Each magnet depicts one of the first five characters of the hiragana (ひらがな) writing system: ‘a’, ‘i’, ‘u’, ‘e’ and ‘o’.
These magnets are part of the Moji (文字) Collection: polymer clay accessories inspired by the bold, graphic aesthetics of Japanese children’s books, posters and toys from my youth with which I (quite unsuccessfully) tried to study the Japanese language. Would you like a standalone simple calligraphic character or would you rather spell out a secret (perhaps dirty) word in Japanese? Anything is possible.
Diameter of each magnet: approximately 4 cm.
Made from lightweight and durable polymer clay and hand painted.Comes in a random colour combo but don’t hesitate to contact me for a specific request.
Wipe with a soft and damp cloth to clean. Keep away from moisture.
