Nami Pop Nashi Wool Fiber Art Mini (30×30)

Description

Nami Pop Nashi is a hand punched wool painting made by Lina.

At the heart of the Nami Pop series are rounded colours and playful nami — the Japanese word for wave — that flow, sway and loop across the surface in rhythmic lines. They weave their way through plump, rounded shapes that feel almost fruit-like — soft, buoyant and full of life, with generous curves and joyful colours. These gentle silhouettes amplify the sense of play, creating a vibrant dialogue between curve and line, between motion and pulse. A joyful collision of softness, colour and movement.

The raised woolen texture catches the light and invites the hand, turning each piece into something not only to look at, but to experience. So please DO touch!

Punch needle is an embroidery technique using a small handheld wooden pen with a hollow needle that “punches” yarn through fabric, one loop at a time. Therefore it is much slower and more detailed than the now popular tufting technique, which uses a powered tufting gun.
